This song was first sent to me by one of my good friends during a particularly rough time in my life. I’ll be your mirror. I don’t know that I’ve ever heard a song with a message more loving than this. It’s simple really, but so so beautiful. At this point in my life I felt like I was losing myself; I was very depressed, and this song helped me so much. I’d listen to it often, sometimes on repeat. It really helped me, along with lots of convincing from friends and family, that the darkness I was in wasn’t everything. That the good in me was still there.

This song represents to me, unconditional love in its purest form. I listen to this one quite often on a good day, and still put it on when I need that little boost during the bad ones. Also, I feel like it has helped me to really think about the type of relationships I want to put energy into, in my life. The importance and dearness of those connections, and how to nurture them.
