Hold your head high. I don’t listen to this track as often as I used to, but I feel like it’s always there when I need it the most. I definitely can admit to singing this one at the top of my lungs, choking back tears, as corny as that may sound. It’s my *feel better* song. It’s that reminder to keep on going, even if you don’t want to…to remember that there are people who exist in your world, that don’t think you’re a total fuck-up, and to remember that our choices–both good and bad–are part of us. Sometimes we want to shut down, but no– you get back up, you hold your head high, and keep on going. It’s going to get better.
