“Siren Song” by Bats for Lashes

This was the first song that came to mind when I started to think about my songs for the Five Song Project. “Siren Song” tends to be the song I share the most with people who I think will really listen. It’s always the same instructions, “turn off the lights, close your eyes, and listen with some good headphones.” There is something about this song that just gives me the feeeels. Natasha Khan has a way with pulling you into her deep & dark, lovely universe. I have many favorites when it comes to Bat for Lashes, however this one, with its intimate vocals and atmospheric sounds, is particularly haunting and magical. So I will extend my instructions to you, to turn off the lights, close your eyes, and listen.
